City of Henderson, Nevada, selects 1800MyLogo to design new logo for city convention center

October 1st, 2002 – 1-800-MyLogo was selected by the City of Henderson, Nevada Tourism Commission, to design a new logo for Henderson Convention Center. The center hosts meetings, conventions, conferences or corporate retreats. With more than 70,000 square feet of meeting space citywide, Henderson can provide the space clients need, with the hospitality they deserve.

Ideally located between the glamorous lights of Las Vegas and the grandeur of Hoover Dam, Handerson is a place where clients can experience all the hospitality of a small town, combined with the excitement of a big city. The city offers more than 95 square miles of fun, sun and good times. Golfers may enjoy championship golf courses and, for the outdoor enthusiasts, Handerson offers tennis, bike and walking trails, swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing and camping.

This explains why our client, Henderson Convention Center, wants their logo design to look “very professional and corporate in nature, with a splash of fun”. On the other hand, the logo design should convey “credibility, reliability, precision, comfort and trustworthy”, according to Henderson’s representative.
