L'Oréal USA Selects 1800MyLogo to Design a Logo for their Corporate Manufacturing Training & Development.

July 1st, 2001 - Corporate identity specialists, 1800MyLogo, have been selected by the cosmetics giant L'Oréal USA to develop a corporate identity solution for a new division of their manufacturing sector.

L'Oréal USA's newly created Corporate Manufacturing Training & Development division is an operation which will serve to address the training needs of professionals and executives who form part of L'Oréal USA's dynamic manufacturing sector. Currently, 300 professionals from ten manufacturing facilities across the U.S. are targeted to benefit from the new training and development division. These include various engineers and inspectors as well as business executives, managers and other highly skilled employees. The new department's facilities are located in the state of New Jersey, home of the first L'Oréal USA manufacturing plant that opened its doors in 1953.

The executive team responsible for the overall operations of the new division felt it necessary to create a unique and imaginative identifying logo that will distinguish and quantify the importance of this training division to the professionals in the manufacturing sector. "L'Oréal USA's human resources development and training is an integral, ongoing process which is a significant component of our business. We hope the new logo will serve as a tool for empowering our employees as they develop the skills they'll need take on more challenging roles within the company," stated an Assistant Vice President of Corporate Manufacturing.
