1800MyLogo is Selected by NTT Docomo of Japan to Design a Product Identity

July 1st, 2001 - 1800MyLogo was recently selected by NTT Information Sharing Platform Laboratory Group, a unit of NTT Docomo, currently Japan's largest tecommunication corporation, to design an identity solution for a new software application that will enable research engineers, developers and other scientists to compile and exchange important information quickly, efficiently and easily.

NTT Information Sharing Platform Laboratory Group is the research and development arm of the telecommunications giant Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT Corp). The Information Sharing Platform Laboratory Group is made up of four distinct laboratories, each of which carries out different types of research activities. 1800MyLogo will develop an identity for the InfoLead software application, which will be utilized by one of the four laboratories as a tool for maximizing the structural documentation and exchange of data gathered from experimental research projects. It is a powerful, multi-dimensional tool, which will revolutionize and standardize the manner in which researchers do their work.

1800MyLogo has put together a team of two corporate identity specialists and two senior graphic designers for this particular project. This is a rare, yet very welcomed opportunity for the firm, as the majority of projects are mostly for corporate identity solutions. Nonetheless, 1800MyLogo has designed excellent identities for several new products, while at the same time establishing a systematic method used entirely in the process of product identity development.
